Wordless Wednesday -- Peugeot
(I know this is supposed to be wordless, but I love seeing bikes like this -- especially when the basket is filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. I imagine the satchel is filled with some of the endless bureaucratic forms, surely involving the Secu, and that is French life for me in a nutshell. I deleted this photo from the camera right away but next time I'll try to play with some of the color filters.)

That's neat! Very French.

Great picture for Wordless Wednesday.
What a pretty bike. I wish we lived in a more rural area so I could ride my bike more often.

Out of Words
Speechless
It's been so long since I road a bike. I'm sure my but would be sore after riding only 30 minutes.
I live in a rural area and there is some sort of biking group that rides together on the paved county roads. Unfortunately, those roads usually do not have any sort of shoulder and seem a little dangerous. Both the cyclists and the motorists seem to be in such a hurry. It isn't a leisurely ride in the country for either group. That's why I love this picture. It suggests a slower pace. Even if this cyclist is in a hurry with a job and many errands, he or she has the time to bike rather than drive. Perhaps it's only an illusion though and they cycle out of necessity. I like to imagine otherwise.
That is a nice picture. Very simple, yet speaks volumes.
Nice bike!! We are Peugeot 'fans'... my great-great-grand-father being Armand Peugeot (who made the first Peugeot cars) probably has something to do with it ;)
Great pic. I'll be back!
