It's because the glass was just too clean

On our brief daily outing we went to feed the ducks and geese at a local farm. Once the stale baguettes were gone, we decided to drool over the fancy food at the gift shop. We were not the only ones with that idea...a little guy in glasses, probably around 7, came in with his dad while we were browsing the wines. The dad started checking out wine as well when we heard a loud THWACK and looked up to see the poor kid holding his forehead and staggering around.

Apparently he had gotten a little overexcited looking at the fresh goat cheese and failed to notice that it was sitting in a display case. I don't know if he wanted to smell it or what, but he sure took a whack to his head. The guy behind the counter was all "Dude, be careful or you'll hurt yourself" and his dad scolded him and made him lurch over to stand with him. We left shortly after that but I hope the poor kid at least got his cheese.

Pool little guy. Good to see you post. Are you guys feeling better yet? Hope so. I'm so glad no one scolds me every time I do stupid stuff. Sometimes we forget that kids are just - - well - kids. Come by and visit my site. I miss your comments!

I found your blog through Chris (at Book-a-rama). We lived in Ste. Foy-les-Lyon from 1992 to 1994. It wasn't always easy!

Kathy -- I need to stop by! I read you and then don't comment (what a bad friend I am).

Chris -- I dare say it was some good cheese!

Bermudaonion -- Hi! Thanks for stopping by. It's true that it isn't always easy...
